About the client
Fatography is a photography studio in Dubai covering fashion, lifestyle, maternity, events, food and wedding photography, with studio and on location sessions. Many of its customers search in Arabic.
The starting point
The first Ahrefs crawl gave the site a health score of 7 out of 100, rated weak. It found 101 errors and 273 warnings, and 86 of the 92 URLs it checked had at least one error.
What we did
The audit flagged problems with duplicate pages without canonical tags, redirects listed in the sitemap, orphan pages with no internal links, missing H1 tags and meta descriptions, and incomplete social tags. We worked through them in order of impact, then crawled again to confirm each fix.
What changed
By 26 Sep the score had reached 46. By 8 Oct it was 97, rated excellent, with errors down to 6 and 127 of 131 URLs free of errors. In Arabic search, Fatography ranked first for "wedding photographer Dubai" and "photography service Dubai", and second for "photographer Dubai".
Good to know
The first crawl checked fewer pages than later crawls, so the starting score reflects a smaller sample. Rankings move day to day; the ranks shown are from one tracker update. Not every keyword reached page one: "video production service Dubai" was still at 90, which is the next target.
